Fantasy 8Weapons
Final Fantasy 8 has made an imressive move from buying 'new' weapons to 'making' new
weapons. Yes, in FF8, you stick with your initial weapon, however you can upgrade it
throughout the game, thus making it more powerful.
The way you go about upgrading your weapons is by finding items throughout your
journey. When visiting shops, you will be asked to find certain items to upgrade your
weapon, then you have to pay a fee for the blacksmith to make the weapon for you.
Now, you can find you 'required' items by defeating enemies, stealing off enemies
etc...and not all items are easily found, for instance the more powerful weapon you can
upgrade to will mean finding 'rare' items for the upgrade.
